Hi all! I’ve been super busy acclimating to a new job (and it’s all remote which is not too easy to on board via mobile), so pickins have been slim this past week. Trying to get back into the swing of things, including Mon Petit Chew Chew! Speaking of getting back on track, Little Coconut is in desperate need of a haircut. Anyone else notice that not just their own hair is messy due to COVID-19, but also your pup’s ‘do too? And for Kitty, she’s shedding in literal thick tufts. They just poof out into the air (you’re welcome, bird nests) as we get deep into August.

What have you been up to? I’ve noticed lots of people going back to work, getting outside, socializing (hopefully socializing with that distance thing). Someone posted a supercute “stay six feet apart” sign - but measured in Golden Retrievers:

And because of that sign, I just spent the past six minutes watching this video of two goldens and two huskies left to their own devices. I’m currently reading this dog treat recipe and trying to figure out what “porridge oats” are (it’s from the UK). Have y’all listened to the podcast, Can I Pet Your Dog? It’s good. It’s funny. I love it. And finally, check out this excellence: Marty’s Place Senior Dog Sanctuary in New Jersey allows dogs to be fostered or adopted, but they also take in silver snouts that need medical care or a safe spot to snooze.
